Within each sharing template, you can activate the NOTIFY option. When enabled, this option sends a notification to the sender of the share if an operation is performed on the file shared or classified with that template. The notification can be activated in the following ways:

• BIDIRECTIONAL – if a user performs an operation on the resource shared or classified with the template, the notification will be sent only to the original owner of the resource.
• MULTIDIRECTIONAL – if a user performs an operation on the resource shared or classified with the template, the notification will be sent to all users in possession of the resource.

The NOTIFY option to be associated with the template can be further customized: through the checkboxes located in this area (NEW CONTENT, EDITING, DELETION AND MOVING, OTHER OPERATIONS), it is possible to activate the notification only for some specific operations. The operations are divided into macro areas of intervention, each of which is better specified by the INFO icon located next to each macro area.
