By clicking on the PASSWORD POLICY link, you can set complexity policies and replace passwords of users belonging to the selected company. To customize the parameters related to password complexity:

• In the first box, indicate the minimum number of alphanumeric characters required for choosing the password.
• Enable the options associated with the conditions you want to make mandatory for choosing the password.
• Press SAVE to confirm the changes made.

By default, PASSWORD COMPLEXITY only requires 8 characters and no additional options.
To set policies regarding the expiration of company user passwords:

• Click on the checkbox ACTIVATE PASSWORD EXPIRATION DATE.
• Enter in the appropriate field the number of passwords to keep in the history of past passwords.

  Note: it is not possible to set as a new password one of the passwords kept in the history.

• Enter the number of days the password of users who are part of the company must be valid in the appropriate field.
• Press SAVE to confirm the changes made.

Note: to install the Common Criteria EAL2+ version of BooleBox On-Premises, the password must reach a minimum length of eight characters and contain a capital letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
