Boolebox Updater is the component that allows the guided update of the following platform components: Boolebox Webapp, Document Service, Storage Service, NodeJS, SignalR, Server Service and AD Service.
Boolebox Updater consists of:
- Boolebox Updater Console (or Console): a desktop application that allows you to perform the following tasks:
– keep track of the nodes of a Boolebox configuration
– keep track of the version of the server components installed on the different nodes
– check for updates for each Boolebox server component
– allows you to download updates and install them on the nodes - Boolebox Updater Service (or Updater): a Windows service that must be installed on each node and performs the following tasks:
– provide information to the console about the server components installed on the node and the version
– backup and install updates when requested by the console
